About the Role

Applications are invited for a Machine Learning Scientist (KTP Associate) in Multimodal Data Integration with a background in deep learning. This is an exceptional opportunity to work as a KTP Associate in collaboration between AstraZeneca and Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) within the domain of Artificial Intelligence for multimodal integration of multi-omics and imaging data.

The primary aim of the project is to perform research and development on a unique dataset consisting of multiomics and imaging readouts from chemically and genetically perturbed cells.

The project is a joint collaboration between Queen Mary University of London and AstraZeneca, and the successful candidate will be based primarily in the AstraZeneca Discovery Centre in Cambridge. 

The position is funded until June 30th 2027 in the first instance.

About You

The ideal candidate will have, or be near completing, a PhD in computer science, bioinformatics or a related field, with experience of interdisciplinary research and a keen interest in life sciences.
