About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated post-doctoral research associate (PDRA) to join the research group of Professor Venet Osmani. You will be a key member of the Osmani Lab at DERI, contributing to our development and the success of our mission, and we are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic at the idea of contributing to the building of Professor Osmani's lab at Queen Mary.

Research will focus on generative, and multimodal AI and its application to health data, and we are seeking candidates with experience of generative modeling, including methods based on autoencoders, generative adversarial networks (GAN) and diffusion models. 

The role is funded for 24 months in the first instance.

About You

You will have a PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline or will have obtained it by commencement of the position. Successful candidates will have experience with generative modelling, including Autoencoders, GANs or Diffusion models, ideally applied to clinical data. Experience with multimodal AI methods is also welcome.

The role will be based in the Digital Environment Research Institute (DERI).
