About the Role

The CDT in Next Generation Organ Chip Technologies (CoaCT) is an EPSRC funded project to support the training of 4 cohorts of PhD students over approximately an 8.5 year period.  This newly created post of CDT Programme Manager is pivotal to the operational running of the Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) .The purpose of this role is to lead the operational delivery of the Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Next Generation Organ Chip Technologies, COaCT, whilst also shaping its future and directly impacting on the student experience. The CDT Programme Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of administration, line managing the stakeholder partner administrator and is the financial lead for the CDT programme. They will have full operational responsibility for the relationship with the programme’s sponsor, the EPSRC, as well as the industry partners associated with the programme. They will contribute to the strategic and operational development of the Centre, including developing and maintaining the CDT’s ethos, framework, committee structure and operating procedures.

About You

We are looking for a motivated, organised and professional individual with extensive financial and high level administrative experience, as well as the ability to prioritise a varied workload. A degree or equivalent is essential, as well as the ability to contribute to strategic planning, to set and meet deadlines working within budgetary constraints. A demonstrated ability to communicate well, with highly developed interpersonal skills, and to work within a team, to support the development of training activities working with a range of stakeholders is also essential.
