Applications are invited for an appointment as Established Professor of Medical Education, a full-time, permanent position at the University of Galway.
The School of Medicine at the University of Galway has a rich tradition of producing excellent graduates. In line with the ethos of the University’s Strategic Plan 2020-2025, emphasising respect, excellence, openness, and sustainability, the School has established a new Discipline of Medical Education. The Professorship of Medical Education is created to provide academic leadership for this new Discipline.
The postholder will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to the discipline of medical education in the School of Medicine to ensure it delivers on its core purposes:

Salary: €140,068 to €177,079 p.a (applicable to new entrants effective from January, 2011)
