We are looking for an enthusiastic researchers to join our Sustainability Assessment Team at the Grantham Centre for Sustainable Futures (GCSF).
The Grantham Centre for Sustainable Futures at The University of Sheffield brings collaborators together across academic disciplines, business and policy to create knowledge that will deliver global health, prosperity and wellbeing within planetary boundaries. Your role will be to undertake research in the GCSF Sustainability Assessment Team on processes and methodologies and support the wide range of sustainability research that needs quantitative analysis. Your work will develop the materials, processes and technology needed to transform the material economy, bringing together the critical mass needed to realise the benefits of a circular economy.
You will carry out a variety of sustainability assessment, across projects in plastics to clean energy and hydrogen to agriculture. You should have background in life cycle assessment and/or economics, including technoeconomic assessment and life cycle costing.
