About the role
As a Senior Timetabling Officer, you will play a vital role in delivering the timetabling service. Working closely with academic and professional services colleagues, together with those in other key areas such as Estates & Facilities Management, you will work with your team to produce the annual teaching timetable. In doing so you will be conscious of the need for continuous service improvement in support of a high-quality student experience. You will also provide support, as part of your team, for the University's room bookings service.
About you
The post requires a very high level of personal responsibility and initiative and as such you will have a significant experience in timetabling at scale, ideally within the HE sector, and will possess a strong array of technical skills and experience of working with complex data and large databases. You will have excellent communication skills and inter-personal skills and be able to use them to influence, negotiate and problem solve. Demonstrable experience of working with Syllabus+ timetabling software will be an advantage.
