We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Associate to make a leading contribution to the EU Horizon Europe funded VET Prep project (VET participation, retention, and educational policies in the wake of COVID 19) working with Professor Simon McGrath and colleagues in Glasgow and four European partner institutions.
The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.
Candidates should have a comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of current issues and future directions within a relevant area of specialism such as Vocational Education and Training / Youth Studies / Education Policy / International and Comparative Education along with knowledge of a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies appropriate to the project.
This post is full time and fixed term until 31 December 2027.
