About the role
This role involves working with students at undergraduate and postgraduate level, primarily in the Fashion Design programme. You will be able to provide high quality technical delivery and support in the use and maintenance of specialist equipment and facilities. You will support the programme with delivery of garment construction, pattern cutting, production, manufacture and safe studio practice. It is also desirable for you to have experience of working with 3D digital construction software and supporting equipment.
About you
You are a passionate and student-focused individual with strong technical and organisational skills. Guiding students to reach their potential will be at the heart of what you do. You will have a strong knowledge and experience of industry level equipment and be up to date with technological advances in the area. An aptitude for problem solving and assisting students in realising their projects. You will be adept at effective communication to a diverse range of individuals from varying backgrounds and have knowledge and understanding of race, multiculturalism, and diversity.
