We are delighted to invite applications to join our expanding team at The University of Salford as a Lecturer in Architectural Design and Technologies. The vacancy is for a full-time (1.0 FTE) position and we are seeking applications from individuals who bring expertise and experience from practice and/ or research. Applications are welcomed from individuals with expertise in future design paradigms including AI and robotics that responds to global societal challenges, such as climate change, and capitalises on the University’s world class facilities. and an interest in developing this work to inform teaching across architecture and construction related disciplines.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their expertise into innovative and engaging teaching across architecture and construction related disciplines. We are particularly keen to hear from applicants skilled in architectural representation and communication, with good knowledge of technical design and construction technology.
Working as an integral part of our team, there will be opportunities to develop links with practice and industry to evolve inclusive and innovative pedagogies to deliver unique student experiences that maximise accessibility, enrich professions and advance architectonic understanding and experimentation.

The School aims to transform the quality of life for society and the well-being of future generations through a better and more sustainable future, offering students programmes from Architecture to Zoology.
Industry collaboration is at the core of what we do. This is combined with a passion for research and finding solutions to realworld problems and those that we may face in the future. Our work is truly interdisciplinary with a strong focus on developing our knowledge for our colleagues as well as students.
The University’s Campus Masterplan includes three new buildings for the SEE School and marks a real step change in our ability to deliver world leading research and innovation. We are located in a state of the art building with three dedicated architectural design studios.
The University is also home to unrivalled facilities including the North of England Robotics Innovation Centre and Energy House 2.0. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to foster cross-disciplinary relationships and research to build world-leading research activity with these facilities.
