Domestic Services Assistant – Loughton Campus
Estates and Campus Services require a motivated individual to join a team committed to delivering a quality, customer focused cleaning service at the University’s Southend Campus.
This is a permanent part-time post, for 15 hours per week, working Monday-Friday 5am - 8.00am
Duties of the Role
Duties of the post will include but not be limited to the cleaning of seminar rooms, offices, stairs, lifts, kitchens, external areas, toilets, studios and the theatre. Applicants should have a customer focused approach to their work and be able to demonstrate flexibility when dealing with reactive requests. A good understanding of health and safety requirements relevant to the cleaning industry is essential.
Skills and qualifications required
You must have the ability to undertake cleaning to a high standard with good communication skills, a positive attitude to delivering good customer service and a flexible approach to work, with a professional manner. It is important that you are able to undertake the physical aspects of the post.
