The role
The post of Lecturer in Mining/Geoenvironmental Engineering will contribute to extending the research profile of CSM, particularly in areas related or complementary to mining engineering, engineering geology & geotechnics or mining environmental management.

Camborne School of Mines
The post will be based in the Camborne School of Mines (CSM), a discipline within the Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences at the University of Exeter’s Penryn Campus in Cornwall. With over 135 years of providing high quality education and state-of-the-art research for the international mining industry, CSM is one of the world’s best known Mining Schools, and has recently expanded its teaching portfolio with the Degree Apprenticeship in Mine Management and a new undergraduate Mining Engineering programme starting in 2025. This post will support the next generation of delivery of high impact research and innovative mining related education.
