About the role
The University of Sussex are seeking a highly organised and efficient Database Administrator to join the Operations team supporting the work of the Development & Alumni Relations Office.
This will be a dynamic role with joint responsibility for processing sign ups, whether it be on our mentoring platform, Sussex Connect, our Alumni Community platform, or for our range of Alumni events.
The post-holder will also be responsible for managing our busy inbox and providing support to a range of stakeholders within the department and wider University.
Further to this, the post-holder will have to opportunity to support our online presence, assisting in the administration of the online event and donation forms, as well as having a hand in building engaging email communications to our Alumni and Supporters.
About you
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring data kept within the department’s database, The Raiser’s Edge, is accessible and well maintained.
They will work well in a team and have a collaborative approach to problem solving and be able to independently provide support where necessary.
