About the Role
The Centre for Commercial Law Studies invites applications for the post of Programme Officer. This role entails delivering administrative support for the taught programmes, engaging with students, academic Module Organisers/Programme Directors and teaching teams. The primary goal is to manage and co-ordinate student administration systems and processes to enhance the student-academic cycle of activities, and to develop data driven solutions to enhance the delivery of programmes. The Programme Officer may be called upon to support meetings of the Student Voice Committee and of the Subject Examination Board.
About You
You must hold a degree or have relevant experience, additionally a proven record of administrative experience in either the Higher Education or educational private sector. You should have significant experience of using large student databases, preferably SITS, detailed knowledge and understanding of higher education institutional procedures, regulations and codes of practice on student administration.
You must be able to demonstrate excellent written, verbal, numerical, and good organisational skills, with the ability to balance competing work demands and good time management to meet deadlines.

In 1980, CCLS became one of the world’s leading academic institutions for the study of commercial law. The primary objectives of the Centre are to conduct scholarly research of international excellence, to contribute to the shaping of public and commercial policy, and to provide teaching of the highest quality at post-graduate level. CCLS covers the whole spectrum of commercial law, including arbitration, banking and finance, intellectual property, international trade, media and communications, shipping, insurance, regulation, ethics, and tax. Over one thousand students from some 80 countries study for master’s and doctorate degrees with us. CCLS has a team of approximately 40 Professional Service staff.

The post is based at the Lincoln Inns Fields Campus in London. It is a full time, 12 month fixed-term appointment, with an expected start date as soon as possible. The starting salary will be Grade 4, in the range of £39,065 - £45,622 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. This post is a hybrid position with 3 days on campus.
