We are looking for an experienced researcher to investigate translatable markers for high quality protein production in Chinese hamster ovary cell lines, the typical cell factory used for the production of high value biopharmaceuticals.
The Opportunity:
You will join an international team researching new methods for process analytical testing in Chinese hamster ovary cell lines. Using state-of-the-art liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry methods and flow injection real-time metabolomics, you will identify small molecules associated with product quality markers and work with partners in the National Institute for Bioprocess Research and Training in Dublin, and the Goodacre lab at the University of Liverpool to translate these measures into robust monitoring tools.
