We are looking for an enthusiastic post-doctoral researcher to contribute to an exciting new collaborative project, funded by the Medical Research Council, that is focused on a promising G-protein coupled receptor target in metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD).
This post is advertised as full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns.
The Opportunity:
This exciting project, in collaboration with experts in Molecular Pharmacology at the University of Glasgow, aligns well with the PI’s broader programme of translational liver research, with a focus on the development of new therapies for MASLD and other chronic liver diseases (www.ed.ac.uk/inflammation-research/people/principal-investigators/prof-jonathan-fallowfield). The post-holder will support these research interests, being an outstanding team player, ready to work within a multidisciplinary research group driven by a collegiate, collaborative ethos.
