This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Project Manager.
Job Purpose
Responsible for the provision of project management of capital development and building and property refurbishment projects for the University.
The role involves managing and delivering a variety of complex repair and refurbishment projects from inception to handover both from reactive maintenance requests, a planned programme of replacements and building fabric improvement from the University’s Capital Improvements Programme managed by the Estates Directorate.
This position will focus on delivering Projects that sit within the Minor and Intermediate Programme (circa under £2 million) and requires close collaboration campus wide, delivering the Estates Strategy within a multi stakeholder environment.
The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Skills & Experience
Ideally a degree/HNC/HND or equivalent in building construction and/or surveying.
Project Management qualification or equivalent proven track record of managing complex projects to successful completion.
