Shaping Futures, the Uni Connect partnership for the Liverpool City Region, is seeking to appoint a candidate to take up the role of Higher Education Progression Advisor. Reporting to the Shaping Futures Outreach Manager, you will be responsible for developing, delivering and evaluating impartial outreach projects for young and adult learners from across the Liverpool City Region. Informed by the key aims and guidance of the Uni Connect programme, you will develop sustained interventions to support learners to make an informed choice about their future pathway.
Ideally, you will have experience of working with young people in a school, college or community setting. You will also have an awareness of the benefits of widening participation to Higher Education.
We welcome applications from candidates who have experience from both within and outside of the Higher Education sector where they can demonstrate the skills needed to succeed in this role.
The post is available on a fixed-term basis until July 2025 in the first instance. However, an extension is possible depending on program success and continuation of funding.
