An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Registry team at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC). The RVC is the UK's largest and longest-established independent vet school and is a Member Institution of the University of London.  The RVC offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing and biological sciences and CPD programmes in veterinary medicine and veterinary nursing.

Following an internal restructure, the Registry is developing teams responsible for the management of student data. We are seeking a part-time Registry Business Systems Developer to work with the Assistant Registrar for Registry Business Systems to improve service delivery in our fast-paced office environment. This new role will undertake systems development tasks and projects for all systems under Registry's remit, reviewing and developing processes underpinning student data, developing interfaces and ensuring content in systems is functional, assessible and appropriate for users. The post holder will work with the Assistant Registrar for Registry Business Systems to ensure a high quality service meeting the needs of emerging internal and external agendas critical to the RVC's development and success.

The successful post holder will have experience of student record system development, experience of working in an educational environment focusing on user experience and experience of higher education system development. 

Systems currently used within RVC Registry include SITS, TimeEdit and Haplo PGR Manager.

The role will include producing development documentation and user guides, producing reports and using initiative to identify problems and offer appropriate solutions. A pro-active, flexible approach to your work is vital to deal with the competing demands and challenges of your daily work.

This role will be based at either the Camden or Hawkshead campus and is offered on a part-time basis, 17.5 hours per week.
