The University of Aberdeen is seeking applications for a full-time, substantive, Teaching Fellow in the Department of Sociology with a focus on Criminology. This post will be available from January 2025. The successful candidate will hold a PhD in Sociology or a closely related discipline with expertise in sociological criminology. They will have experience of teaching in higher education and have the capacity to contribute to courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. It is expected that the candidate will exhibit the capacity for major contributions to scholarship and to the development and teaching of Sociology and Criminology as a field of study.
Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 6, £37,999 – £45,163 per annum with placement according to qualifications and experience.
