Assistant Maintenance Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Estates Department to join a small, but busy team as a full time Assistant Maintenance Technician based at our Hawkshead Campus, AL9 7TA.

The role holder will work within the Maintenance team to provide support to our staff and students, busy hospitals, accommodation, and teaching spaces. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and experience of general maintenance activities i.e. decorating, carpentry, plumbing etc..

You will be joining a team of highly skilled individuals who are key to the care and maintenance of our sites. You will help maintain our facilities to a high standard by undertaking reactive repairs and planned maintenance, sometimes outside of normal working hours.

We are looking for candidates with a positive and flexible attitude and attention to detail, along with great customer service standards, who wish to further develop their career in the building maintenance profession in a demanding and challenging environment.
