About the role
The postholder works within the award-winning Entrepreneurship Team, part of the Careers, Employability and Entrepreneurship Team (CEE), to create and deliver an outstanding programme of entrepreneurship support for Sussex students and graduates. The postholder works closely with students across all faculties, enabling the development of their entrepreneurial skills and mindset through an inspirational programme of activity and up-to-date information, advice and guidance. As well as support work with students, the postholder will liaise with staff across the CEE Team and University on queries relating to student entrepreneurship provision.
About you
We are seeking candidates with a working knowledge of how to help students to develop entrepreneurial skills, mindset and ventures. You will have information, advice and guidance skills (or the potential to develop these swiftly with training) and the skills to design and deliver engaging group work to university students. As well as the written communication skills to produce promotional content and respond to queries, you will have well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with students. You will have effective planning and organisational skills.
