The role
Bristol Veterinary School is looking to recruit a pathologist with vision and commitment to drive veterinary pathology research and teaching for the 21st century.
The role is advertised from Lecturer to Senior Lecturer level, as an open-ended post and offered on our Education and Teaching (Pathway 3) academic tracks. The role is a full-time position, however part-time appointment(s) would also be considered.
What will you be doing?
The successful candidate will join the existing Veterinary Pathology Unit. You will contribute to, and lead aspects of, the teaching of veterinary pathology, with opportunities to support wider aspects of the clinical and professional curriculum and educational research.
The role will involve didactic and practical teaching of veterinary pathology to undergraduate and postgraduate veterinary students and will contribute to the provision of the school’s post-mortem service, with particular reference to companion animals including cats, dogs and horses, and/or large animals including farm animals.
