The University of Nottingham, School of Veterinary Medicine and Science wishes to expand its small animal medicine and surgery team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development of future veterinary surgeons and teaching by sharing your knowledge and experience to ensure competence and inspire life-long learning.
Based at the Sutton Bonington Campus, and in our clinical associate veterinary practices you will contribute to the provision of the School’s clinical services to the School’s clinical associate practices and participate in the clinical training of final year veterinary undergraduates with a particular focus on imaging. Additionally, you will participate in delivery of teaching across the integrated curriculum. You will have a veterinary qualification suitable for clinical practice in the UK and be considering or undertaking a post graduate clinical qualification in dermatology or ophthalmology (relevant clinical experience may be considered as an alternative to this qualification). Other areas of interest or expertise will also be considered.
The School has a diverse range of research activities, facilities and equipment to support an enquiring mind. Collaboration with research teams will be encouraged.
This is a permanent, full time (36.25 hours) role. The post attracts a consolidated market uplift up to 10% and an additional none consolidated clinical supplement uplift up to 15%. Job share arrangements may be considered.
