The role
The Faculty wishes to recruit a part-time (0.1 FTE) Clinical Supervisor in CBT to support the delivery of the Children and Young Peoples’ (CYP) IAPT training programme within the Clinical Education Development and Research (CEDAR) department.
The successful applicants will be a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with an in-depth understanding of cognitive behavioural therapy as applied within a children and families context. The role will involve supporting trainees by delivery of weekly supervision which takes place on a Tuesday morning during term time. Outside of term time the post holder will be expected to undertake competency-based marking of CBT therapy tapes and complete supervision reports. It is likely that a significant proportion of this work will be conducted online within our blended face to face and online training approach for 2025. You will work with other supervisors and the Programme Lead to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of clinical supervision within the teaching programme in accord with the College’s education strategy and implementing the External Affairs strategy.
