The above part-time 0.2 - 0.3 (1 – 1.5 days a week) maternity cover role is available immediately on a fixed-term basis until 31 August 2024.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
Summary of the role
Would you like to support the skills and development of the next generation of CBT therapists working with children and families. We have an exciting opportunity training the practitioners on the CBT strand of postgraduate diploma in Evidence Based Psychological Therapies for Children, Young People (CYP) and Families programme within CEDAR at the University of Exeter. It is an established programme which has been running for 12 years with an excellent track record of training competent CBT therapists across the South West. We cover a wide geographical area and have strong links with local child and adolescent mental health services. This role represents an exciting opportunity for a committed clinician to join a team of accredited CBT therapists, in teaching and evaluating CBT.
The successful applicant will be passionate about CBT, an accredited CBT therapist or a mental health professional with strong academic and organisational skills. The role will involve the effective delivery of teaching and skills tutorials. The course currently runs on a Monday and Tuesday during term time and therefore the successful applicant will need to be available on these days.
