This is an exciting opportunity to work in My MEDIC, a service that provides coordinated support and skills development for medical students through their study. We are looking for an Occupational Psychologist to join the team of experienced doctors, psychologists, and experts in language and communication. You will provide occupational psychology input to support students who may have complex issues offering bespoke support and signposting to other appropriate services.
The successful candidate will be an accredited Chartered Occupational Psychologist or hold membership of Health and Care Professionals Council or British Psychological Society and have relevant experience of working with young people providing occupational psychology support.
An ability to be a supportive and proactive team member will be key to your success in this role.
The post is based at the Heath Park site.
The majority of roles at Cardiff University are currently operating under “blended working” arrangements, with staff having the flexibility to work partly from home and partly from the University campus depending on specific business requirements. Discussions around these arrangements can take place after the successful candidate has been appointed. The team are currently working in a blended model, and some home working is therefore possible.

Salary: £39,347 - £44,263 per annum, pro rata (Grade 6). Appointments to roles at Cardiff University are usually made at bottom of scale unless in exceptional circumstances.
