We’re looking for a talented and ambitious Schools & Colleges Liaison Marketing Administrator to join the team at this exciting time of growth at Birkbeck, University of London. This is an exciting opportunity to join our student recruitment team this Autumn 2024.

At the core of this role is supporting the development and implementation of a wide range of student recruitment and marketing activities targeting secondary schools, sixth forms, and colleges across Greater London.

Your knowledge of the UCAS application cycle will support a wide range of events and activities across the recruitment cycle including on campus, in secondary schools, colleges and at exhibitions. This includes communicating with prospective students, teachers and academics as well as providing efficient admin support for the logistics of these events.

As our Schools & Colleges Liaison Marketing Administrator, you will have proven track record working in a customer facing role, with a strong preference for a Higher Education environment and with experience of working in the education sector to provide a high-quality service with excellent written and oral communication skills, with marketing experience.

You are an experienced multi-tasker, you will have strong organisation, planning and IT skills and the ability to define priorities for yourself to execute your tasks and support the wider team’s tasks when required. You will also be expected to learn new software, information systems and online platforms to fulfil your role.

The ability to cultivate good relationships is essential to your role as Schools & Colleges Liaison Marketing Administrator. You will support the development of building networks – internally and externally – and understand the value of maintaining them. This will be demonstrated through the impact of your work and as you help to develop the profile of the expanding Schools & Colleges Liaison team at Birkbeck, and with our partners and other stakeholders across London, and beyond.

Salary and benefits:

£29,392 rising to £32,962 per annum, Grade 4 of the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance that applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.

Contract:
