About the Role:

In this role, you will work with the Head of Hamilton Brookes and an education consultant to develop resources that meet curriculum needs and commercial viability. You will oversee the content creation process, manage budgets, and ensure quality standards. This part-time position (up to 0.7 FTE) includes flexibility for remote working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with authors, subject matter specialists, and editors to develop educational resources
  • Manage the content lifecycle, including updating backlist and front list materials and handling rights and permissions
  • Resource publishing projects, including working with freelancers and in-house teams
  • Lead content creation using CMS, ensuring adherence to quality standards
  • Define the publishing strategy and create business cases for new content
  • Align publishing with strategic goals, including sustainability and inclusivity
  • Introduce AI to enhance workflow and content creation
  • Research new publishing opportunities and manage content design for inclusivity and accessibility.

Qualifications and Experience: Essential Experience:

  •   BA or BSc or equivalent in a relevant discipline or industry experience
  •   Solid understanding of the primary curriculum and copy editing
  •   Attentive to detail with clear communication skills
  •   Experience in project and budget management.
