London South Bank University are excited to be recruiting for the post of Senior Marketing Manager within our Marketing, Admissions, and Communications team.

This department is responsible for the University's student recruitment, its reputation, and external relationships. It works to help define and raise brand awareness of LSBU among target audiences while aiming to attract the best prospective students to the University.

This position will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to work with the Head of Marketing and Digital and the Senior Manager Content and Creative on the development and implementation of value propositions and a positioning and messaging approach for prospective student focussed marketing activities.

You will act as the main source of audience expertise for prospective student audiences, working in collaboration with all teams to ensure the most appropriate messages and proof-points for this group are captured and amplified across the prospect and applicant journey, through to on-boarding and enrolment.

About You:

We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills and experience:

  • An experienced marketing professional with experience in delivering events as part of an integrated marketing approach.
  • An individual with developed marketing expertise around compelling brand messaging and how to bring this to life across all channels, clearly focussed on driving engagement and conversions and reporting/monitoring these and refining as appropriate.
  • An effective leader and influencer, who is able to influence and engage both academic and non-academic communities and drive effective collaboration.
  • Ability to manage and coach a marketing sub-team and ensure that they are supported where necessary, providing guidance and clear direction.
