Marketing and Communications Manager

Fixed Term Contract until July 2027.

Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week.

The Opportunity:

The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for The Data Lab in order to raise awareness, attract potential customers and retain existing ones. The role requires overseeing various marketing functions, including market research, content development, communications, and advertising.

The Marketing and Communications Manager will deliver a range of key marketing functions for The Data Lab. The principal tasks are:

• Marketing and promotional activity to raise awareness of The Data Lab with our target audience.
• Manage and create digital content for multi-channel promotion.
• Reporting and recommendations on the success of campaigns and other marketing activities.

Through hubs in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness, we foster innovation through collaboration, build skills and grow talent, and champion Scotland’s data science community.
