The School of Psychology is a vibrant, research active and teaching focused team of professionals with expertise covering a diverse range of psychological studies. We are an inclusive School encouraging and involving our students’ participation in active learning research to develop highly skilled, knowledgeable and employment ready graduates.

There is a clear enthusiasm for developing programmes that offer students meaningful engagement with psychological science. Our UG course programmes and our applied MSc programmes (stage 2) are approved and accredited by the British Psychological Society. These are underpinned by a strong organisational structure and inclusive ethos, which greatly enhances the student experience and is reflected in our exceptional NSS results and the large numbers of applications that we receive year on year.

Role
Applications are invited for a Tutor in Psychology with a focus on Education, Pedagogy and Citizenship to work within the School of Psychology, which is part of the Faculty of Health and Education. The successful candidate will be required to teach within the British Psychological Society (BPS) core topic areas, be adaptable to digital education and online learning and have a good track record of supervision and personal tutoring at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Ideal Candidate
Applicants should have eligibility for Chartered Membership with the BPS and hold a Post Graduate MSc qualification in a psychology related field.
