The Role
We are looking for an External Communications Officer to join our dynamic and fast-growing university, you will be part of our Communications and Content team and will be at the forefront of fostering effective communication amongst our external audiences.
Working within our small external communications team, your role will be pivotal in ensuring our external audiences (from potential students and industry leaders through to journalists and politicians) are engaged with our university's purpose, values, and strategic goals. We are seeking a vibrant individual with exceptional writing and communication skills, press experience and a passion for education to keep our external audiences informed, engaged, and connected.
Reporting into the External Communications Manager, you will join our fun and friendly team based at our campus in North Greenwich, opposite to the 02 Arena.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of working within an external communications role. You will ideally have experience of the following areas:
