We are looking to hire an experienced HR Business Partner for a fixed term contract maternity post. This role will start in September 2024 for a 12 month period.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team.
Reporting to the Deputy Director of People and Culture, the HR Business Partner will work alongside the Senior HR Business Partner and HR Advisor. This role will work closely with other staff in the People and Culture team, as well as senior managers, line managers and on a daily basis, provide guidance, support and expertise needed in order to address and resolve all staff related matters. This will include academic staff as well as those who work is professional support areas.
These are exciting times for Ravensbourne as we are changing and growing. As such, extensive experience in change initiatives and advising managers on restructures will be an essential part of the role. The post holder will also be expected to support and manage complex employees relations matters.
The role is an HR generalist one, and will be working as part of a small People and Culture team. This results in the requirement to be flexible across the team and work and at times, supporting other areas of our department.
We are a small team, and you will need to manage your own caseload and related administration. You will take responsibility for your own workload and professional development, seek out best practice and apply it, treat everyone fairly and put the interests of our staff first.
To succeed in this role you will have a good general knowledge of human resources operations and experience, with good IT skills and attention to detail. You will need to be a clear communicator with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a calm and focused approach.
