Part time Research Assistant (Forensic Psychology)

Hours of Work:            Part-Time (21 hours per week)

Contract type:             12 months FTC

Salary:                         The salary will be £25,138 per annum (pro rata) in a Grade 5.

The Early Stalking Awareness Intervention (EASI) aims to reduce further stalking behaviours and associated offending through improved the psychological wellbeing of would-be perpetrators, as well as increase victim confidence in the police.  The project is commissioned by the Home Office and is a muti-agency initiative between West Midlands Police, His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service, Black Country Women’s Aid, and university researchers. 

Longitudinal quantitative data will be collected on-line and analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics.

The postholder will be involved mainly in participant management, data collection, data input, data analysis, and report writing. Familiarity with quantitative research methods and SPSS is the key skill required. Knowledge or experience of working with the police and/or offenders would be an advantage.

Hours of work will be 21 hours per week, with working days/hours to be agreed with the line manager. Working days will be flexible

This role will be located at Leeds Trinity University campus Horsforth, Leeds. Through our agile working framework, there will be the option to spend some time working remotely to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
