We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to work within the Irish-UK Future Food Systems: Policy, Regulation and Transformation platform of the multimillion Euros Science Research Foundation Ireland funded Co-Centre for Sustainable Food and Resilient Food Systems on the island of Ireland. The role, which is based at the UKTPO, will focus on the policies and regulations supporting the food system that are often not interlinked or coordinated. This issue is exacerbated by complexities of the relationship between Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Ireland and the European Union. As a result, unintended consequences, possible conflicts and opportunities for synergies are not considered.
The post holder at UKTPO reports to the co-investigator, Professor Fiona Smith.
The post is full time (37 hours per week) fixed for 12 months, available from 1st October 2024.
Please contact Professor Fiona Smith: Fiona.Smith@sussex.ac.uk for informal enquiries.
