We are seeking to employ a Practitioner with appropriate academic and professional qualifications to join our department at Huddersfield Business School. As a member of the marketing team, you will help to deliver teaching to students on either Marketing Communications or Digital Marketing modules. We are particularly keen to recruit practitioners with experience of creative marketing communications, campaign delivery and with digital marketing skills. We would also welcome applications from practitioners with relevant experience of marketing practice more generally.
The role will involve taking overall responsibility for the function and delivery of the programmes (including some teaching), collaborating with key stakeholders, embedding the programmes within Huddersfield Business School and maximising opportunities for enhancing benefits for learners. You will undertake an ambassadorial role for the programmes and play a pivotal role in recruitment and achievement of the target organisation/learner numbers. You will also be responsible for ensuring we offer an outstanding learner experience and are fully compliant with audit and regulatory requirements, working closely at all times with academic and professional services colleagues.
With a master’s level qualification or equivalent qualification, you are expected to continue to participate in ongoing and substantive professional engagement activities alongside their academic activities.

As a Practitioner, we expect you to be actively engaged in practice in addition to your role at the University. This can be either through paid employment with another employer, paid consultancy or freelance work.
The University is deeply committed to equality and diversity for all its students and staff. We seek to be diverse and inclusive, supporting individuals and groups to fulfil their potential and nurture a sense of belonging. We strive to be an accessible, inclusive employer, removing barriers for all.
