About the Role
The Knowledge Exchange (KE) Hub Administrator, working under the supervision of the KE Hub Manager and the KE Hub Scientific Director, is an important part of the small team supporting the work of the UK Knowledge Exchange Hub for Mathematical Sciences (KE Hub).
As part of the administrative team of the Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences, the KE Hub Administrator will provide support for Knowledge Exchange activities and KE Hub projects, ensuring successful delivery of programmes of work. This includes supporting the planning, organisation and delivery of a number of meetings, networks and activities. The role-holder will also support the development of marketing communications (including the website) and contacts management to build KE Hub Databases and increase awareness of the KE Hub and its activities. About the Knowledge Exchange Hub for Mathematical Sciences
The UK Knowledge Exchange Hub for Mathematical Sciences (KE Hub) is part of the UK's national Mathematical Sciences infrastructure and exists to promote, facilitate, and support knowledge exchange activities between Academia and Business, Industry, & Government.
The KE Hub is currently based at the Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences (INI) with a remote management and executive team from across the UK. The INI is a national and international visitor research centre running programmes on selected themes, with applications in a very wide range of societal, scientific, and technological areas. The Institute attracts leading scientists, both from the UK and from overseas, to interact on research over extended periods.¿

What you will need
As an experienced user of standard Microsoft packages who has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, you will be able to draw on your administrative experience to effectively support the KE Hub team, ensuring the aims and objectives of the KE Hub are achieved. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to communicate with both KE Hub team members and a wide range of external people, including senior individuals from government, business and industry, in both written form and verbally. You will also have an enthusiastic and flexible approach, particularly as some travel and occasional out-of-hours working will be required for events.
