A proactive and enthusiastic individual is required to join Next Steps South West (NSSW), part of the Uniconnect programme funded through the Office for Students (OfS) to encourage awareness of, and access to, Higher Education for identified individuals from target groups in schools where progression to HE is low.
This is an exciting opportunity to assist the NSSW team in the organisation of outreach activities to secondary school students through a collaborative project of key stakeholders, comprising universities and FE/HE colleges in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset.
You will liaise with colleagues across NSSW. Duties will include booking and liaising with Student Ambassadors, arranging training, transport and administration for outreach events. Assisting the Evaluation Team through data input of school data; monitoring email inboxes; setting up and servicing meetings, updating and maintaining computer records. This post is based at University of Plymouth,and will have guidance and reporting requirements from the Devon County Team and Evaluation Team based at University of Plymouth.
We are seeking an experienced administrator with a flexible approach and skills in MS Excel/data handling and good organisational skills.

This is a full-time working 37 hours per week on a fixed-term basis until 31 July 2025 due to funding.
