This is an exciting opportunity to join the Faculty of Health as a Business Development Manager where you will lead specific strategic and operational developments at a Faculty level and contribute to policy formulation. You will be directly responsible for leading and managing a range of functions within the Faculty to positively impact our Faculty’s five-year business plan.

Do you have excellent strategic planning and project management capabilities and are able to:

  • Generate substantial income through tendering (identify, evaluate, recommend, complete, and submit tenders)?
  • Lead strategic projects (eg space utilisation/expansion: Support our academic portfolio ambitions to offer new/innovative pathways to and within higher education);
  • Lead Local Improvement Projects: Lead initiatives in alignment with the University of Plymouth’s strategic direction, including supporting processes to support the embedding of our new student record system?
  • Do you have strong leadership and team management skills to lead multi-functional teams by providing overarching line management?
  • The ability to work collaboratively and drive change within a large organization?

These are full-time positions working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
