We are excited to announce a vacancy for a Faculty Finance Administrator at Birkbeck, University of London. Our institution is renowned for its commitment to providing the highest quality academic and working environment, and this role will be based within our Faculty of Business & Law.
We are looking for an administrator with strong customer service skills, who is organised, detail-oriented, has a high level of numeracy skills and is able to work well in a team. You should have good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Training in Birkbeck Finance Systems will be provided.
As our Faculty Finance Administrator, you will:
Provide administrative support for the planning and financial aspects of the faculty's work Maintain accurate records of financial and planning matters in line with college policies and procedures Process expenses, purchasing card returns, requisitions, and orders Support the activities of the faculty by attending relevant training and meetings, and train/supervise new staff members.
The ideal candidate for the Faculty Finance Administrator role should:
Have a good understanding of administrative systems and office work Possess knowledge of higher education procedures and have an interest in finance administration Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Remuneration
Salary: £29,392 rising to £32,962 per annum.
The salary, Grade 4, quoted is on the College's London Pay Scale.

Terms and Conditions
Permanent contract. Full-time (35 hours a week).
