Following an internal promotion, we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR professional to join our friendly and passionate team.
Our team delivers a broad range of HR functions to the employees at Cambridge Judge Business School (CJBS). We partner with line managers and employees to provide expert advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures, enabling them to achieve their business objectives and contribute to the mission and vision of the Business School.
As a Senior HR Coordinator, you will be one of the first points of contact in the HR team, answering a range of queries and providing generalist HR advice and guidance on a daily basis. You will oversee the administrative function of the HR team (including line management of two HR Coordinators) ensuring that all processes are compliant and fulfilled effectively and efficiently. You will manage a variety of recruitment campaigns, and the onboarding of new employees, in addition to supporting the retention and engagement of our current workforce. You will actively seek out training and development opportunities for staff, and support performance management processes. In addition, you will have the opportunity to manage HR-related projects as part of our mission to continuously improve and innovate our HR service at CJBS.
We are looking for someone with experience in an HR generalist role, with detailed knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices. You will be able to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, establishing and maintaining strong working relationships throughout the Business School and the wider University. You will need to have a flexible approach and feel confident managing your own workload, whilst working under pressure. A high degree of confidentiality, autonomy and initiative is required in his role. As a line manager, you will need to motivate and support two HR Coordinators and help them in managing the administrative function of the HR team.
This role is based in central Cambridge. We offer a hybrid working model and the successful candidate will be expected to be in the office for a minimum of three days a week.
