Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual looking to develop their skills in a challenging, fast-paced design role. Joining our friendly Marketing and Applicant Communications team you will be required to deliver on a range of specialist support services including creating marketing materials both on and offline for Bath Spa University. (This is a Fixed Term 1 year contract, covering maternity leave)
About the Role
As our Graphic Designer, you will be responsible, under the guidance of the Creative Team Manager, to project manage and plan various projects from brief to execution – e.g. advertising, promotional material, and printed materials. As part of this, you will be required to attend briefings/meetings and inputting to their creation. You will use your creativity to create graphics and design layouts for print ads, flyers, email newsletters, the Bath Spa University website, and social media accounts. You will work with the University’s brand and ensure the brand’s standards and guidelines are being applied across all communications.
About You
You will be fluent in Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and have good written and oral communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills at all levels. You will have strong, creative, organisation and time management skills, and be able to respond positively to new ideas and approaches and contribute to improvements to service delivery.
