The role
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team.
In this busy, varied role you will spend some time advising managers of all levels on operational aspects of HR management HR is truly valued at the University and you will work closely with a group of stakeholders proactively providing your input and advice.
This role is fixed term until 31st July 2025 and working arrangements will be up to full time (35 hours per week). We are open to part-time working at a minimum of 0.8 FTE.
What will you be doing?
Working primarily on significant transformation projects, you will establish strong working relationships with key managers. Working with colleagues, you will undertake workforce planning and analyse and interpret HR Management Information data. You will also be responsible for supporting organisational reviews, and assisting with the management of changes to academic structures.
You will provide advice on employment legislation and assist in the dissemination and implementation of new organisational structures and ways of working. A key aspect of the role is working closely with your internal customers to support the roll out of specific training and development interventions and to provide advice, guidance and support as well as dealing with any issues of misconduct, poor performance, attendance or capability as required.
