The University is seeking an Assurance and Regulatory Compliance Manager to support the ongoing development of the University’s assurance activities. This is one of two new roles in the assurance team in the Governance and Compliance Division and represents an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and growing team and to support the breadth of activities taking place across a world leading University.
The role holder will report to Head of Assurance and will be responsible for the overall administration of assurance and regulatory compliance activities. You will be the first point of contact for the day-to-day management of audit and assurance processes, working with colleagues across the University, including senior officers. You will also monitor assurance processes relating to regulatory compliance (e.g. with the Office for Students Conditions of Registration) and manage the operational delivery of the Head of Institution assurance statement process.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, including the ability to interpret, manipulate and present data in a meaningful way to different audiences. You will also have excellent written communication and interpersonal skills and experience in interpreting and applying regulatory requirements successfully to a range of operations in a complex and devolved environment. You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent), ideally with experience of working in an audit, compliance or assurance function.
Your application, along with a covering letter, should clearly set out how you meet the criteria listed in the person profile (the skills and experience required for the role) along with relevant examples. Candidates will be shortlisted based upon these criteria.
