The University of Plymouth, a leading University in the South West, is seeking to recruit 2 skilled Support Analysts to work as part of the Technology and Information Services (TIS) – Customer Service Center (CSC) team.
TIS has an ambitious vision of becoming a leader in its field within the HE sector, and is keen for people who are passionate, innovative and driven to deliver the best to be part of the team. The vision includes a substantial move to Cloud based services and utilising the full suite of functions this provides.
This advert is for two roles:
You will be providing IT support to staff and students primarily using the University’s Windows PC centrally managed desktop fleet in an enterprise environment. You will work in a dynamic and responsive team and assist in maintaining and developing our key IT services.
You will be an excellent communicator who is flexible and adaptable, with genuine customer service skills and a high attention to detail. The role requires the ability to self-prioritise and work independently to productively manage high volume workloads.
You should be an effective team player who enjoys working in a busy and challenging environment where a calm manner and collaboration are essential. You will have demonstrable 1st and 2nd line experience of supporting a diverse customer base using Windows 10 and core products such as Microsoft Office 365 in an enterprise environment.
You will be familiar with ITSM best practice and ideally have or be working towards ITIL version 3 Foundation and SDI Analyst or equivalent.
Note: This role is on-site, office based only.
A current full driving licence (manual transmission) is essential as you will be driving University of Plymouth vehicles.This role is also subject to health surveillance with our Occupational Health team.
