We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our Finance Team.
About the role
This varied and interesting post will involve close liaison with the staff within our five academic Departments, Faculty-based teams, Central Professional Services and external organisations.
The key tasks will include providing financial support, advice and guidance to staff in the Faculty with responsibility for the monitoring of Departmental and Faculty budgets
About you
The ideal candidate will be qualified to AAT Level 4 or with an equivalent relevant professional experience, you will have previous experience of working in a busy accounting/financial environment where excellent communication skills are essential.
You will be an experienced user of Microsoft Office applications and will be willing to acquire further IT skills.
You will also have experience of working as part of a team in a confidential setting.
A good track record in financial administration (including budget management) is essential.
Skills in the use of financial management software will be an added advantage.
An interest in our work and a willingness to become fully involved in the life of the Faculty is equally important.

This is a full-time role offered on a permanent basis. We offer hybrid working with the normal expectation of three days a week in the office.
