About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Scrum Master to join IT Services. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Scrum Master, implementing Agile practices and methodologies across multiple teams. Your expertise will be crucial in mentoring and motivating the teams to improve processes, facilitating meetings and decision-making processes, and eliminating team impediments.
Furthermore, you will work closely with the platform owners to translate epics, stories, and other items on the sprint list into actionable tasks for developers. You will use the rituals and processes of the agile methodology to maximise productivity and promptly deliver value to customers. As Scrum Master you will take ownership to facilitate any blockers and serve as the primary contact for inquiries.
This role will play a pivotal role in guiding teams across ITS and Sussex Projects to adopt and excel in Agile methodologies.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will be a certified Scrum Master with a deep understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework. The ideal candidate will have a background in software development and some exposure to project management practices, coupled with problem solving and conflict resolution experience.
