The above full-time post is available immediately in the University’s Human Resources Division. (A part-time appointment may be considered.) This role is on a fixed-term basis until 31 July 2025.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
Summary of the role
You will have responsibility for the leading of and contributing to HR projects with a specific emphasis in the University’s Fair Employment For All initiative (FEFA). You will work with HR colleagues and managers in Faculties and Professional Services to review and improve employment policies and procedures to achieve the University’s aims to increase our use of open-ended contracts of employment. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development, review and implementation of other HR policies and procedures to support the achievement of the University’s Strategy 2030 goals.
You
You will be an experienced HR professional, with the ability to develop effective relationships with stakeholders across the University at all levels, working collaboratively to negotiate successful outcomes. You will have a working understanding of employment law and good HR practice and good IT and communication skills.
