About the opportunity: To ensure delivery of smooth usage and running of the facilities and the activity programme through supervision of recreation assistants whilst on shift and customers using the Centre for Sport facilities (CFS / WFG / Hillside Gardens), through coordination of service delivery, ensuring Health & Safety regulations and normal operating procedures are implemented. As a senior member of the team on shift, you will be supporting the team to meet timescales and train colleagues in an approved training programme, ensuring they develop a working knowledge of all normal Operating Procedures and Emergency Action Plans in order to carry out duties, to prevent serious incidents or injuries from occurring
As well as maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the CFS facilities, the Duty officer will a administer First Aid or call for further assistance as appropriate.
Duty Officer will be asked to contribute and supervise the running of children’s activities, including holiday camps, courses and one off large scale events or competitions and also provide sickness and holiday cover for other duty officers and provide a flexible support.
