Job Summary

The post holder assists with increasing the revenue and profitability of the use of Imperial’s space by actively promoting and selling the facilities and services to internal staff, corporate clients, organisations, schools, groups, and agents.
This role will primarily focus on maintaining existing internal and external client relationships and returning business, as opposed to the development of new clients. As needed, the role will research new business opportunities, using a variety of channels and methods including social media, networking designated target markets/segments.
The post holder will work closely with the Events Sales Manager to deliver a high quality of service to all clients, whether internal, from the Imperial community, or external. A high standard of relationship management is expected. A seamless handover of client bookings from Sales through to Operations is required. Reports will need to be prepared, including financial and KPI reporting to convert potential business and achieve targets.
Where group clients may be interested in accommodation, this role will collaborate with the Commercial Summer Lettings Team to facilitate cross-selling.
The post holder will also collaborate with the Marketing Manager to support with all aspects of the marketing of promotional material, including brochures, adverts, newsletters, blogs, social media, and news features.
The role will also support client engagement, drive repeat business and retention initiatives.
